Welcome to The Chequers Pub – serving great family food in Stotfold
We are a village family pub in Stotfold near Hitchin serving a traditional pub food with lots of family favourites, all freshly prepared to your individual order!
We serve good home cooked pub fayre and it’s always great value and quality and we have some great ice cream sundaes! Our main menu is family friendly and includes pizzas, burgers, fish and chips and salads and we serve a great kids menu too. Check out our menus here
Our bar is well stocked with cask ales, all of excellent quality. We also offer a good range of gins all served with superior Fever Tree tonics, plus some great whiskies, rums and a selection of fine wines. There are also some great low alcohol and soft drink choices, tea and a choice of quality coffees.
There is a lovely beer garden for those sunshine days, with an excellent children’s play area and plenty of room for the kids to let off steam while you enjoy a relaxing beer or prosecco in the sunshine. The Chequers really is a great place for all the family.
We have both Sky & BT Sports in our bar and show all your football, rugby, Formula One, golf….if its on we can show it! Come and watch the sport with a great atmosphere and good company. We also serve a great bar menu of snacks, pizzas and burgers and sandwiches for you to enjoy with a great pint!
